In the course of searching for information about "TPE," I came across a question asking whether TPE overmolding materials can withstand high temperatures during injection molding. The accepted answer was somewhat ambiguous: "How high is the 'high temperature' you're referring to? There are various types of TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomers), each with different characteristics, such as TPS, TPO, TPV, and TPI, among others, with operating temperatures generally around 100 degrees Celsius or so."

However, from my recent understanding of the TPE industry, the injection molding temperature for TPE overmolding materials indeed varies according to hardness. Typically, the processing temperature for TPE ranges from approximately 150 to 185 degrees Celsius. This might raise questions like, "Wouldn't a 0A hardness material also require a temperature close to 160 degrees Celsius?" The answer is affirmative because TPE overmolding materials we use are made of high-temperature resistant compounds, which usually reach their basic injection temperature at around 150 degrees Celsius. For instance, a 0A transparent grade would achieve crystal clarity at around 160 degrees Celsius. If someone in the market claims that they can attain high transparency at merely around 100 degrees Celsius, it's unclear what kind of compounded material they might be referring to.

To put it specifically, the controllable temperature range for TPE overmolding materials during injection molding is between 150 to 185 degrees Celsius, within which adjustments can be appropriately made to achieve the best results.

While exploring inquiries related to "TPE," I encountered a query about whether TPE encapsulation materials can tolerate high temperatures during the injection molding process. A satisfactory response indicated uncertainty: "What specific 'high temperature' are you referring to? There are numerous varieties of TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomers), each with distinct properties including TPS, TPO, TPV, TPI, etc., typically operating within a temperature range of around 100 degrees Celsius."

However, based on my nascent knowledge of the TPE sector, it's true that the injection molding temperature for TPE encapsulation materials does depend on the hardness level. Generally speaking, the processing temperature for TPE materials falls within the spectrum of roughly 150 to 185 degrees Celsius. This may prompt queries like, "Wouldn't even a 0A hardness material need a temperature close to 160 degrees Celsius?" Indeed, the answer is yes, since the TPE encapsulation materials used are composed of highly heat-resistant materials that generally attain their baseline injection temperature near 150 degrees Celsius. For example, a 0A transparent grade becomes crystal-clear at around 160 degrees Celsius. If someone were to claim achieving high transparency at only about 100 degrees Celsius, it remains uncertain what type of compounded material they might be utilizing.

To be precise, the manageable temperature range when injection molding TPE encapsulation materials lies between 150 to 185 degrees Celsius, within which adjustments can be suitably made to optimize performance outcomes.
