III. Application Cases

Case Description

The customer is looking for a mask designed for pet dogs that features high rigidity, high transparency, and excellent resistance to yellowing. As the pet market continues to grow, the quality standards for pet products are becoming increasingly stringent. As an essential tool for safeguarding pets’ health, dog masks not only need to provide basic protective functions but also meet consumers’ demands in terms of appearance and durability. Therefore, the customer has set very strict requirements for the mask’s materials, including high rigidity, high transparency, and resistance to yellowing.

Import process

  1. Requirements Analysis We had a detailed discussion with the customer to understand the specific application scenarios for the masks, as well as their size requirements and material specifications.
  2. Material Recommendations Based on the customer’s requirements, we recommended the ZR90T-CWKZ TPR high-transparency material and provided a detailed explanation of its physical properties and advantages.
  3. Test validation To verify whether ZR90T-CWKZ meets the customer’s requirements for resistance to yellowing, we conducted yellowing performance tests in accordance with the ASTM-D1148 testing standard. During the actual testing process, we used a 300W xenon lamp as the light source and subjected both the customer’s sample and our ZR90T-CWKZ material to continuous testing at 60℃ for 24 hours, 48 hours, and 72 hours, recording the color difference values throughout. The test results showed that the color difference value of the ZR90T-CWKZ material was around 1.8, demonstrating excellent performance and fully meeting the customer’s requirements for resistance to yellowing.
