I. Product Overview
Product Introduction: TA85A-WDLED is a fast-curing, easy-to-handle TPE/TPU modified material specifically designed to meet the requirements of particular applications.
II. Physical Property Characteristics

- Weather resistance: High—capable of resisting the impact of environmental changes on material performance.
- Moldability: Can be injection-molded at 200℃ and is suitable for a variety of molds and equipment.

III. Application Cases
Case Name: LED Light Board Coating
Case Description:
- Application Background: The customer requires a coating material for LED light boards that must possess high-temperature resistance, hydrolysis resistance, and non-exudation properties.
- Import process:
Preliminary screening First, based on the customer’s requirements, we screened three candidate materials from among numerous TPE/TPU materials: TA85A-01, TA85A-15, and TA85A-WDLED.
Test material stage To verify the performance of these three materials, we conducted three separate trial batches. In each trial batch, we performed a series of rigorous tests on the materials according to the customer’s specific requirements, including high-temperature resistance testing, hydrolysis resistance testing, and extractables analysis.
Performance evaluation After three rounds of material trials and tests, we found that TA85A-WDLED performed exceptionally well across all performance indicators, particularly in terms of high-temperature resistance, hydrolysis resistance, and non-exudation—features that clearly outperformed the other two materials.
Customer testing Based on our test results, we recommended the TA85A-WDLED material to the customer. The customer subsequently conducted further tests, including a 10-day immersion in a 70℃ water bath. The results showed that the material exhibited no signs of delamination, cracking, or deformation, and its surface remained free of any precipitates.
- Application Results: The TA85A-WDLED material has been successfully applied to the customer’s LED light board encapsulation project. Not only does it meet all of the customer’s requirements, but it also enhances the overall performance and quality of the product.
IV. Summary
Through the successful application of this case, we have further validated the reliability and practicality of the TA85A-WDLED material in applications such as encapsulation of LED light boards. Thanks to its outstanding flowability, weather resistance, moldability, and encapsulation performance, as well as its exceptional resistance to high temperatures, hydrolysis, and no tendency to exude, this material has earned the recognition and trust of our customers.
