III. Application Cases
Case Name Toilet brush
Case Description :
The ER60A-MTS material has been successfully applied in the production of toilet brushes. As a daily cleaning tool, toilet brushes place extremely high demands on the wear resistance and hydrolysis resistance of their materials. Thanks to its outstanding wear resistance, excellent hydrolysis resistance, and pleasant tactile feel, the ER60A-MTS material has become the ideal choice for toilet brush bristles.
Application Background :
As consumers increasingly demand higher quality in household cleaning tools, the selection of materials for toilet brushes—being one of the most important cleaning tools—has become ever more critical. Traditional toilet brush materials often suffer from poor abrasion resistance and easy hydrolysis, leading to a short service life and suboptimal cleaning performance. Therefore, it is particularly important to develop a new, high-performance material for toilet brushes.
Import process :
Before ER60A-MTS material was selected as the material for toilet brushes, we conducted numerous trials and tests. Initially, we tried using two grades of material—ER60A-01 and EN60A-01—but after testing, we found that neither grade met the customer’s requirements in terms of wear resistance and hydrolysis resistance. Therefore, both grades were deemed NG (non-conforming).
Subsequently, based on customer feedback and test results, we further optimized and improved the material, ultimately launching a new material called ER60A-MTS. During the trial phase, we conducted tests strictly in accordance with the customer’s requirements, including wear resistance tests, hydrolysis resistance tests, and molding performance tests. After numerous rounds of testing and refinement, the ER60A-MTS material successfully met the customer’s specifications and received high recognition and positive feedback from the customer.
IV. Summary
The application case of ER60A-MTS material in toilet brush products fully demonstrates its outstanding wear resistance, hydrolysis resistance, and excellent hand feel. Through numerous preliminary trials and tests, we successfully overcame the challenges related to material performance, ultimately providing our customer with a high-performance, high-quality material for toilet brushes.
