It is insoluble in water and any solvents, non-toxic, odorless, and chemically stable, except for reactions with strong alkalis and hydrofluoric acid.

- **Overall Price Comparison:** TPE is predominantly used in mid-low end markets, while mid-high end silicone is more common. Therefore, TPE is generally cheaper than silicone. Considering production efficiency and material recyclability, TPE has a clear advantage.

### TPE vs. Silicone Dolls: Which is More Comfortable?

- **TPE Dolls:**
  - **Advantages:** Realistic touch, good elasticity, strong tensile strength, and can be repaired. TPE dolls are also much cheaper than silicone dolls.
  - **Disadvantages:** May have a slight odor initially. If not well maintained over time, their lifespan may be shorter than silicone dolls.

- **Silicone Dolls:**
  - **Advantages:** Non-toxic, odorless, and environmentally friendly. Longer lifespan compared to TPE dolls.
  - **Disadvantages:** Inferior in terms of touch, elasticity, and tensile strength compared to TPE dolls. Significantly more expensive than TPE dolls.
