TPE/TPR is a soft rubber material, and the related materials with similar performance of TPE/TPR are EVA/POE, PVC, silicone, TPU/TPV, (vulcanized) rubber, etc.

  EVA/POE, belongs to a class of polyolefin elastomer TPO. Although this type of elastomer has a soft touch, but because the molecular monomer unit is a single direct olefin polymerization structure, does not contain benzene ring, the material's anti-slip performance is lacking, anti-slip and wear strength is poor. For soft rubber products injection molding applications are limited, generally some craft jewelry, small toy products, and toughening modification.

  2. PVC soft rubber. Although PVC has good elasticity, but the lack of rubber texture, anti-slip performance in general. In addition, the environmental performance of PVC also affects its application space.

  3. Silicone. The molecular chain structure of silicone only gives it excellent resilience, aging and weathering resistance, as well as excellent environmental characteristics. Silicone shell with excellent soft touch, but in the anti-slip performance, silicone is not good.

  TPU/TPV. These are two common types of thermoplastic elastomers. Both materials have some rubber anti-slip properties. But these two materials in the soft touch is poor.

  5. (Vulcanized) rubber. This material has excellent wear resistance and anti-slip properties, vulcanized rubber system has excellent heat and chemical resistance and physical and mechanical properties, making its application focused on industry, automotive tires, industrial conveyor belt industry is one of its most important applications.

  6. TPE/TPR elastomer. This refers to the SEBS, SBS polystyrene type of elastomer alloy. The material has a rigid molecular structure of styrene and flexible butadiene (or butylene-ethylene) molecular chain structure, making TPE/TPR has a certain strength and excellent flexibility of touch. tPE/TPR strength, abrasion resistance and anti-slip performance is not as good as vulcanized rubber, making its application areas for some daily-use products, tools and hardware, electronic products field.   Anti-slip mats. Such as car with non-slip foot pad, car interior accessories non-slip pad, cell phone non-slip pad, (material surface with strong adhesion), bathroom|bathroom non-slip pad, water cup coaster (composite injection or single material molding), non-slip bowl mat and so on.

  Shoe soles: TPR soles have excellent anti-slip properties, and compared with rubber, the taste is much smaller, and the soles feel more soft and comfortable.

  Various (industrial, stroller) casters. Caster industry, TPE/TPR and TPU are used. But TPR has a softer non-slip characteristics, can be used in the production of medical industry with silent casters, TPU material caster, friction sound is relatively large.
