What Is TPE Material?
Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) is a high-elasticity, high-strength material with excellent resilience and injectable moldability. It offers environmental benefits, non-toxicity, broad hardness ranges, superior colorability, a soft touch, weather resistance, fatigue resistance, and temperature tolerance. Easy to process without vulcanization, TPE is recyclable, enabling cost reduction. It supports overmolding with substrates like PP, PE, PC, PS, or ABS, and can also be molded independently.
Is TPE Harmful to Health?
TPE is an eco-friendly, non-toxic material free from endocrine-disrupting substances. Its slip resistance and abrasion resistance make it ideal for overmolding with PP, combining rigidity (from PP) and softness (from TPE) for enhanced aesthetics and functionality. Unlike conventional plastics, TPE formulations with 3-4x TPU content remain odorless. Key features include:

- Performance: UV, aging, acid/alkali, and fatigue resistance.
