Essential Precautions for Storing TPE Materials

Essential Precautions for Storing TPE Materials:

One: Environmental Temperature
When storing TPE materials, manufacturers must pay attention to the storage temperature. Although TPE materials exhibit excellent chemical stability and temperature resistance during use, this does not mean they should be stored in high-temperature environments. High temperatures can cause TPE materials to melt, so they should be kept in dry and ventilated areas away from direct sunlight.

Two: Environmental Humidity
Alongside temperature, the humidity of the storage environment is also a concern for TPE manufacturers. If the humidity is too high, the moisture in the air can affect the product. Therefore, maintaining the surrounding air at an appropriate humidity level is necessary.

Three: Air Oxidation
If TPE materials are stored for extended periods, they will come into frequent contact with air. The air quality inside warehouses is often not as good as imagined, and prolonged exposure can lead to oxidation on the outer layer of the plastic, affecting its performance. Regular checks during storage are therefore essential.

Four: Proper Sealing
TPE materials should be sealed in plastic bags and placed in boxes to prevent dust or other substances from mixing with them, thereby enhancing their performance.
