TPE products, temperature control issues can arise

When customers use injection molding machines to produce TPE products, temperature control issues can arise. We at Sibo Wang Manufacturer have summarized some tips to troubleshoot these problems:
Common reasons for high temperatures include:

  * Insufficient oil tank volume and cooling capacity
  * Quantitative pump system sized based on rapid feed speeds, excess flow returns through high-pressure relief valve and generates heat
  * Faulty unloading circuit or no unloading circuit, resulting in continuous high pressure overflow and heating when idle
  * Narrow, lengthy, or excessively curved hydraulic circuits creating large local and linear pressure losses
  * Low component precision and quality assembly, causing significant mechanical friction loss
  * Incorrect fit clearance, either too small or excessive wear, leading to high internal and external leakage and decreased volumetric efficiency
  * Excessive operating pressure set higher than needed, possibly due to tight seals or increased seal leakage
  * Higher ambient or operational temperatures causing increased oil temperature
  * Inappropriate viscosity selection, both too high or too low can cause overheating

To address these issues, we recommend:

  * Adjusting the pressure relief valve regularly based on load requirements
  * Selecting appropriate hydraulic fluid and adjusting viscosity where possible to reduce viscous friction
  * Improving lubrication conditions of moving parts to decrease mechanical friction and generate less heat
  * Increasing component and system accuracy, controlling fitting clearances, reducing start-up forces, and adding cooling systems
